Harbour Lights Film Premiere of Glorious Greeks

YOUNGSTERS from a Hampshire school became movie stars for a day when they attended a spectacular red carpet premiere of a film they had made themselves. Year 5 pupils from Beechwood Junior School in Bitterne as well as staff and parents attended the Harbour Lights Picturehouse to see a gala screening of Glorious Greeks, an adaptation of the popular BBC children’s series Horrible Histories.

The life of Victorians and algebra tasks

A few days ago, year 3 looked into the life of Victorians. Also, took part in a trip to Royal Victoria Country Park on Thursday the 4th of February which they really enjoyed. Carol Concert

Carol Concert All year groups had the opportunity to take part in this years carol concert! Crowds of parents came to watch this carol concert come to life on the 15th of December 2015. Y4 Christmas Play

On the 10th of December Y4 had an amazing Christmas play.They sang marvellous songs and learned their lines straight away. Lilly in Y5 thought the play was absolutely amazing. Thanks to Children and teachers determining them they made a spectacular play for Parents and other relatives.

School Councillors and House and Vice Captains London Trip

Our School Councillors and House and Vice Captains had an amazing opportunity on Monday 16th November. We are the Regional Winners of the Pupil premium award!

Exciting News! On Wednesday Mrs Marsh and Mrs Gardner went to London for the award ceremony for the National Pupil Premium Awards.
