Rock Challenge Update

Beechwood Junior School Y4 pupils visited Southampton General A & E department as part of their familiarisation of what happens in the A & E department. HEART values in action around Beechwood

The school councillors completed a project where they were asked to take photographs of the HEART values in action around Beechwood. They put together a PowerPoint Presentation using the photographs they collected and presented their first whole school assembly about what they believe the HEART values are and what they look like and mean to them. Breakfast and Buddies Clubs

Beechwood Breakfast Club Our successful Breakfast club will continue next year in our school dining room.  A selection of breakfasts will be provided together with the opportunity to play, read & socialise. Harbour Lights Film Premiere of Glorious Greeks

YOUNGSTERS from a Hampshire school became movie stars for a day when they attended a spectacular red carpet premiere of a film they had made themselves. Year 5 pupils from Beechwood Junior School in Bitterne as well as staff and parents attended the Harbour Lights Picturehouse to see a gala screening of Glorious Greeks, an adaptation of the popular BBC children’s series Horrible Histories.
