I’m sure most of you know by now that I’ve retired as in dog years I am now the ripe age of 18 and it’s about time I left primary school! I have told Mrs Cotton that I will still do my blog as it’s good for me to keep up my literacy skills and I would still love to let you all know what I have been doing. Maybe you could write to me sometime and tell me what you’ve been up to, I’d like that.
So, where to start… I know, I’ll start with the good bits: muddy puddles, muddy puddles with friends, rolling in muddy puddles, rolling in muddy puddles with friends – you get the idea. Life as a retired school dog is pretty good so far. I have been spending my days either relaxing on the sofa at home (don’t tell Mrs Cotton – she thinks I spend all day laid on my bed, ha!) or running around the forest getting mucky, I love it!
Life is a whole lot of fun being retired but I do really miss you all – my friends these days are much hairier and they smell different but hey, people and dogs come in all shapes and sizes and that’s alright with me! Catch you soon, Winston
