The internet has become one of the most powerful tools in the world and it is here to stay. Therefore, it is important that we educate our children in a way that enables them to use the internet safely. There are more and more ways to access the internet and lots of useful information and fun to be had using it. This workshop will show you some ways to get involved and help to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
Schools all across the UK will be getting involved in events around Safer Internet Day in February 2016.
This year’s theme is ‘Play your part for a better internet!’ and provides an opportunity for schools to make the most of the positive opportunities offered online, whilst giving young people the resilience, skills, knowledge and support they need to navigate any online risks they may come across.
As part of our Parent Time series of workshops we will be holding an internet workshop at your school on:
Wednesday 10th February 2016 @ 7pm. Please join us.
